Below is information on the network and data center that will supply your web hosting
service. If you would like to skip this and see the actual web hosting plans and prices

Florida. When
a problem arises, tech's are always onsite to and ready to respond. That is priceless peace
of mind for your business.
Security
Access to the data center floors is restricted to those holding military grade pass cards.
Furthermore, complete access to the entire floor is only permitted by allowance from onsite
security guards, around the clock. You can be safe in the knowledge that only a handful of
highly trained, level-three technicians will be allowed within close physical proximity to your
web server.
Equipment
All of the routers and switches are made by Cisco. Cisco is a tried and true manufacturer and we
use nothing but the best, so Cisco is our only choice for all network hardware.
Connectivity
Our connections are top notch, ran straight into our data center and your servers are
unrestrained high speed highways with multi-homed connection. We do not use 1 carrier nor do we
use cheap cogent bandwidth. We are connected to TIER 1 providers!
The main lines are, Level3 gigE , UUNET OC-12, and TimeWarner OC-48
Power
The power systems in our data center are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely
event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power
Supply) power that will run if utility power fails. The UPS power subsystem is "N+1" redundant
with instantaneous fail over in case the primary UPS fails.
Environment
The data center's HVAC (Heating and Ventilation Air Conditioning) system is "N+1" redundant to
ensure that - even in the event of an entire HVAC system failure - there is a duplicate system
on standby to take over. An advanced fire-suppression system is in place to prevent any fire
from spreading - in the unlikely event that one could start. All cables to servers and routing
equipment are securely tied down, and cable racks suspended from the ceiling provide dual routes
for all cables. This is so in the event that all cables on a cable rack are cut or burned,
packets of data will automatically be routed to a second set of cables on the other side of the
data center.
Climate control
There are 4 data air conditioning units that provide optimal conditions for equipment
operations. Climate control means that the air conditioning units monitor the temperature
outside of the building and compare it to the temperature inside of the building. Of course, it
is much more complicated than that description. Basically the important factors are that the
temperature is maintained at a balance of the two, and also the humidity, airflow, and
cleanliness of the air is monitored.
Monitoring
The staff works around the clock to ensure that the network is operating at the most optimum
state. The continually review the collected statistics and with very precise care and attention.
We closely watch for traffic trends so that we can react with the proper routing adjustments and
bandwidth additions.
Secondary Facility
We have also contracted a secondary facility with equal network capabilities and security.
Upon Request you may have your website hosted at this facility.
This Network operates out of a state of the art data center located in Chicago, Illinois that
is owned and operated by Equinix and which offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire
suppression, network connectivity, and security. The data center facility sits atop multiple
power grids driven by ComEd, with full UPS battery backup power and N+1 redundant diesel
generators onsite. The network is supplied by two separate managed networks, Level(3) and Savvis.
Dozens more third party backbone providers are available in the building via cross connect, such
as MCI, AT&T, Global Crossing, Abovenet, Qwest, XO Communication, Sprint, Williams, and Cogent.
Equinix provides premium data center services for secure and reliable colocation in the United
States and Asia Pacific region. Their Internet Business Exchange™ (IBX®) centers serve as core
hubs for critical IP networks and Internet operations worldwide. With direct access to more than
190 networks, including all of the top global Tier 1 networks, Equinix's network-neutral IBX
centers and services overcome the limitations of existing data center, network and Internet
operations through direct interconnection to the largest aggregation of networks for unmatched
service diversity, flexibility and reliability.
Fire Suppression System
A state-of-the-art fire suppression system constantly monitors the physical environment for
smoke, chemicals and other hazardous materials that might spark a fire. The data center uses a
dual-interlock pre-action sprinkler system throughout the facility.
Redundant and Precise HVAC System
Air control is critical in maintaining fast, efficient performance from our customers'
equipment. To create the right environment, the data center is fitted with a comprehensive HVAC
system that delivers constant, ideal air conditions. With Equinix's universal policy of N+1
redundancy, the data center maintains a constant, cool environment that is conducive to our
customers' mission-critical equipment and operations.
Redundant Power and UPS
The power systems used in the data center is designed to meet the diverse needs of customers and
are equipped with a level of redundancy that guarantees continuous operation. To ensure that
each Equinix IBX center is always operational all the time, a multi-layer power generation
system, using the highest grade equipment available, is in place. Conditioned AC and DC power
with two independent A & B power buses, respectively, are available to customers. In addition,
UPS, battery and diesel generators back up every power system. The climate control and security
measures are also backed up with redundant power to ensure clean operation during power outages.
Security
A set of five separate biometric hand scanners, an encrypted database and visual confirmation
ensure that only authorized customers have appropriate access to our cage. Using Recognition
Systems, Inc's Handkey® ll Access Control Reader, Equinix has incorporated proven, biometric
technology within the framework of the data center's security system. Because authorized
personnel must pass through biometric hand scanners at every access point, we are able to keep
track of where and when someone has entered and exited a room or cage.
All aspects of the data center are monitored and recorded via color, hi-resolution digital
video cameras. There is CCTV digital camera coverage of entire center, including cages, with
archival system, CCTV integration with access control and alarm system, and motion-detection for
lighting and CCTV coverage. Other security measures include 24/7 on-site security personel.
